We downscaled (localised) global climate and environmental data by region so that you can more easily download it over low bandwidth and more seamlessly explore data relevant to your heritage site or cultural practice.
The data in each regional packet includes:
- Climate Indicators
- Climate, Environmental, & Natural Hazards Data
- Climate Indicators & Climate, Environmental, & Natural Hazards Data → RCP 4.5, 8.5 + SSP 2-4.5, 5-8.5; WorldClim, using IPSL-CM6A-LR Model, acquaduct water risk atlas, extreme sea levels, sea level rise, shoreline change data
- Srtm30 - elevation data.

About the Regional Climate Data Hub
Dr. Salma Sabour, Director of Science at Preserving Legacies, is an advocate for democratising data. She spent months downscaling the climate data by region and developing the training to help ensure anyone can use data on their own terms and weave it with the knowledge their communities already hold.
