CVI provides a workshop-based approach to understanding: heritage values and attributes; the climate science relevant to the place/s in which heritage is located; the intersection of those, to reveal key climate threats to heritage; and the potential effects on the community associated with heritage. Through this, adaptation strategies (for both heritage and community) are identified, as are knowledge gaps, policy needs and management priorities.
